He has been one of comedy’s most recognizable stars for three decades, rising from UCLA Irvine theatre student and The Groundlings standout to Emmy-nominated “Saturday Night Live” cast member known for iconic characters like Tommy Flanagan, Master Thespian, Hanukkah Harry, and the Devil. After debuting his famous liar character on “The Tonight Show,” he quickly landed roles in film, TV, and voice acting, going on to appear in more than 40 movies, including A League of Their Own, The Wedding Singer, and The Producers, and lending his distinctive voice to The Critic and The Simpsons. His career spans Broadway, Carnegie Hall performances, appearances on Friends and Seinfeld, and singing with Robbie Williams at Royal Albert Hall. This year he completed the lead role in the film The Toast and will appear in Happy Gilmore 2. Since 2003, he has also headlined clubs, theaters, and casinos nationwide with his stand-up and is currently performing his musical comedy show, From the Shower to the Stage, with renowned conductor Randy Waldman. Jon Lovitz brings his one-of-a-kind comedy back to the Bear’s Den stage for two unforgettable nights!
