His seven Grammy Awards, 37 Blues Music Awards, the Presidential National Medal of Arts, and Kennedy Center Honors are a testament to his impact on music. At 88 years old, he remains a vital link to the rich history of blues and is passionately dedicated to preserving its legacy for future generations.
